Product Description
evo.com | Weston Snowboards > A high-octane, medium stiff freeride board that loves powder, steeps and air, the Weston Riva Snowboard is ready to charge at a moment's notice but still has the ability to slink through trees and other obstacles on demand. Starting with a core of primarily Poplar and Paulownia woods with denser Bamboo at the bindings to enhance on-edge power, the Riva is a steady partner who doesn't take any guff. Castor Bean Based Rugged Nylon Polymide is eco friendly and made from castor beans. The topsheet is durable and resistant to scratches and scuffs. Sintered Durasurf 4001 The gold standard in bases. The 4000-series sintered bases have a higher density than other options on the market, and are therefore more durable. Additionally, it absorbs more wax, making for a faster and smoother ride. 4000-series PTEX is usually reserved for only top-of-the-line boards due to a higher manufacturing cost, but at Weston it's the minimum standard. Carbon Fiber Stringers Stringers running the length of the board increase stiffness throughout. By placing them near the center, the board doesn't become overly stiff torsionally, making for easy turn initiation. They also allow for equivalent stiffness with less core material needed, reducing overall weight. Directional Freeride Camber Subtle rocker in the nose and tail provide additional float without losing stability. Camber underfoot provides confident edge hold and pop Polyurethane Polyurethane is poured during construction to form a single, unified piece of sidewall wrapping around the entire core for increased strength and durability. Because of this process, it also creates less waste material than other sidewall options. | Women's Weston Riva Snowboard 2025 - 143 | Nylon/Bamboo
