Product Description
evo.com | Weston Splitboards > Weston knows the more you assume about backcountry conditions, the more you're likely to be in for a surprise - that's why the ultra versatile Weston Backwoods Splitboard was developed with an eye to handling every "wild" snow type you'll encounter and with enough guts to go from steeps to tree lines with ease. A directional rocker-camber-rocker shape and mid-flex of "6" deliver solid performance whatever the mountain throws at you. Rugged Topsheet Polymide is eco friendly and made from castor beans. The topsheet is durable and resistant to scratches and scuffs. Tip to Tail Carbon Carbon fiber run through the entire core from tip to tail to provide added pop and response. Sintered Durasurf 4001 The gold standard in bases. The 4000-series sintered bases have a higher density than other options on the market, and are therefore more durable. Additionally, it absorbs more wax, making for a faster and smoother ride. 4000-series PTEX is usually reserved for only top-of-the-line boards due to a higher manufacturing cost, but at Weston it's the minimum standard. Polyurethane Polyurethane is poured during construction to form a single, unified piece of sidewall wrapping around the entire core for increased strength and durability. Because of this process, it also creates less waste material than other sidewall options. Directional Freeride Camber Subtle rocker in the nose and tail provide additional float without losing stability. Camber underfoot provides confident edge hold and pop. | Weston Backwoods Splitboard 2025 - 163
